How We Use Information Collected

Linked Services. We may make content or services from other Web sites, including our affiliated or co-branded Web sites and the Web sites of unaffiliated companies available to you from links located on If you are requesting permission to use Dow Jones articles, you will be automatically linked to the permission service available on the Web site of the Copyright Clearance Center (“CCC”) after you have identified and clicked on the Dow Jones article of interest to you. These other Web sites are not subject to this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review the privacy policy at each such Web site to determine how that site protects your privacy. For your convenience we provide a link to the CCC Online Privacy Policy.
When you link to the CCC Web Site from our Web site, we will transmit a unique article identification code to CCC in order to identify the article that you have requested from our Web Site but which may be ordered and received through CCC. We do not link this code to the Personal Information you have provided to us or provide to CCC with any Personal Information about you during the transfer of this unique identifier. We may combine the information that we collect from you on this Web site with information that you provide to us in connection with your use of our other products, services and Web sites.
Service Providers. We may share your Personal Information with third-party service providers to contact you on our behalf, or facilitate some aspects of our Web site services, or fulfill your purchase requests. These service providers will have limited access to your Personal Information, solely for the purpose of providing these services to us or on our behalf.
Unaffiliated Third Parties. Except as specifically set forth in this Privacy Policy, we will not share your Personal Information with a company that is not affiliated with Dow Jones unless you have given us permission to do so.
