Partnerships & associations

One of our major partnerships we have here in the Middle East is with El-Khazindar Business Research and Case Centre at the American University in Cairo to feature our teaching and writing case material to broaden the knowledge and learning capabilities for all. 

We’re proud to support a total of 750 learning institutions by working with a variety of associations including a national deal with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank along with ULAKBIM, SDL and HEC, SANLiC, MALICO, ZALICO, LELICO and ZULC, KLISC, Higher Education Commission in Mauritius providing content to enhance the overall learning experience. 

Meet our brand ambassadors

Savita Bhooabul

Savita Bhooabul, Head, Library Services at the Open University of Mauritius, boasts a distinguished career in librarianship spanning over two decades. With a Master's in Information Studies (Information Architecture) and a Bachelor's in Library and Information Science from Charles Sturt University, she holds extensive qualifications.

Savita began her career in the public service in 1996, serving in various library roles, including Law Library Officer at the Supreme Court Library. She spent 13 years as a Librarian at the University of Technology, Mauritius, before joining the Open University of Mauritius in July 2021. Notably, Savita is the first female Brand Ambassador in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region and the first Ambassador in the SSA (Sub-Saharan Africa) region.

Emerald & El-Khazindar Business Research & Case Center competition 2021

Find out more about our cases competition, which aims to encourage and promote the development of high-quality teaching case material related to business and management issues in the Arab region, Pakistan and Turkey.

The total award prize pool includes $2,250 prize money. Prizes will be awarded to three cases ($1,500, $500 and $250).
