I wasn’t expecting to pick up this audiobook this month but when the Gods of the Library Holds smile down on you, you don’t deny them. It is no surprise to find Trevor Noah to be a wonderful storyteller in print, as well. He took us to South Africa, bringing us back to his childhood and old haunts in such a compelling way. Educational and insightful, Born a Crime was a great read from start to finish.

What a revealing inside look at not only Trevor Noah's life but a first hand account of apartheid in South Africa. I always enjoyed his comedy but after reading this I have nothing but respect for him and for his mother. In fact, I want to meet his mom! ...more
