When the Office of the Inspector General has Audit, Inspection, or Investigation findings, we offer constructive recommendations for corrective actions. Recommendations should not be overly prescriptive in nature; rather, they should describe what needs to be corrected and the Agency should define how to accomplish the recommendation. In accordance with statute, we report recommendations that are over a year old in each Semiannual Report to Congress.
