The Permanent Office was established on 11 March 2008 in Berlin, Germany. The Permanent Office (PO) was created in order to ensure continuity between IHRA Presidencies and to support the activities of the IHRA experts and Member Countries.
Primary responsibilities of the Permanent Office include providing assistance to the Presidency, Working Groups, delegations, and other IHRA bodies, facilitating internal and external communication, and administrating the Grant Programme.
Update regarding IHRA Permanent Office and COVID - 19 (16 March 2020)
In light of current directives by the German Ministry of Health, the IHRA Permanent Office team is now working remotely. We are available via email as normal, however, the office and phone at the Permanent Office are currently unattended.
