Arpan Kuwait organized  Webinar   on Ways To Improve Financial Health

As a part of its 22nd Years Celebrations, Arpan Kuwait, organized a Webinar for Indian diaspora, titled WAYS TO IMPROVE FINANCIAL HEALTH-during Pandemic Period. The event was organised in association with Embassy of India, Kuwait marking the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence & 60th Year of diplomatic relation between India & Kuwait.

The Webinar received overwhelming response from the Indian community member’s, well attended by Indian association leaders, business community and professionals.

General Secretary Mrs. Rathi Ramamurthy delivered the welcome speech, President Mr. Venkatakrishnan in his presidential address briefly described about Arpan and its activities. Arpan has always been in the forefront of community activities, serving the great countries India and Kuwait. Arpan is keenly involved in promoting Indian art and culture and during the last 22 years, Arpan has also been in the forefront championing social causes in Kuwait.

Mr. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, first secretary Indian Embassy of India to Kuwait in his Chief Guest address congratulated Arpan’s initiative to conduct such Webinars. He also highlighted Embassies community service activities under the leadership of HE Ambassador Mr. Sibi George in Covid pandemic situation. He said that financial knowledge and planning is extreme relevant in current period and this knowledge will give productive support for all sections of people.

Advisory chairman Mr. Suresh K P introduced the webinar. He mentioned that as a part of Arpan’s social commitment, this webinar is aimed to educate and guide the Indian community by providing financial knowledge as well as ways to save their hard earned money for the future of their children and family.

Mr. VR Aiyyappan in his keynote address explained all aspects relating to personal finance which addressed all categories of people. He explained the importance of family budgeting and saving methods to ensure long term financial health which includes nonspeculated savings, family protection, real estate and equities with clear idea of how to balance each type of investment. The presentation was well received and he has answered lot of questions.

CA Kaizer T Shakir Treasurer of IBPC, in his speech explained the challenges of business community facing in Kuwait and the solutions.

Mr. R Naganadan, Member (special invitee) Kerala Loka Sabha in his speech briefed the various government schemes offered by Kerala Govt for NRIs at this challenging time to secure their future. He has highlighted various financial investment opportunities for NRI’s in Kerala.

Mrs. Sampada Lele, President of Maharashtra Mandal, briefed about financial planning and various schemes offered by Maharashtra Govt for NRI’s.

CA Sai Venkata Subba Rao, President of Telugu Kala Samithi, in his speech touched base on different financial investments options and also explained different Govt schemes offered by Andhra and Telungana Govt for NRI’s.

K. Mahadevan, the program convener thanked everyone and Mr. Nagarajan K, Master of ceremony compered the Webinar.
