SOFEX 2020 has been postponed until further notice due to the damage in the infrastructure of the site caused by the heavy rain in Jordan, reports Bob Morrison.

The 2020 edition of SOFEX, the biennial Special Operations Forces Expo and Conference held in Amman, has been postponed as a result of recent heavy rainfall damaging the site at Amman Civil Airport in Marka District.

As a regular visitor to SOFEX since 2004, and as Media Partner for this 13th show, today’s news saddened me. My sympathies go out to the MD, Mr Amer Tabbah, and to his hard-working and friendly team who produce an exceptional expo every two years. Hopefully it will not be too long until a new date can be found for this great specialist defence show that usually punches well above its weight.
