Payment is due 30 days from invoice notice. Cancellations of reserved ad space are not accepted on or after the insertion order deadline. All advertisements are subject to approval. The Publisher and Editor reserve the right to reject advertising for any reason. The advertiser and agency are entirely responsible for conformance to government regulations of advertising.

Print ads should be submitted to J-advertising@press.uchicago.edu as black-and-white print-ready PDF files with embedded fonts and images.
Web ads should be submitted to J-advertising@press.uchicago.edu as color, 72-DPI PNG, GIF, or JPEG files.
Color print ad space may be available. If no color rate is published, a 50% surcharge will be applied.
AGENCY DISCOUNT
The University of Chicagp Press honors a 15% agency discount (all rates are gross).
The publisher has the right to hold the advertiser and/or its advertising agency jointly and severally liable for monies due and payable to the publisher for advertising placed by the advertiser or its agent and for which has been published.
DEADLINES
Please review the advertising page for each journal to confirm art and space deadlines.
Print space reservations are typically due on the first of the month, three months before a journal's cover date. Print art is typically due on the first of the month, two months before a journal's cover date.
Web space reservations, art, and linking urls are due one week before the period served.
