The American Association of Avian Pathologists (AAAP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is allied with the American Veterinary Medical Association. We are the professional organization for all poultry veterinarians in North America with many Central and South American members. The primary mission of the AAAP is to provide continuing education opportunities for poultry veterinarians and microbiologists working with poultry. We accomplish this by funding 4 regional meetings and 1 national meeting each year. The organization also provides educational material for veterinary colleges and poultry science departments in the U.S. and around the world. We provided, free of charge, educational material to students and universities in many developing countries.
