The Australian and New Zealand Society of the History unites historians, medical practitioners, medical students, and others with an interest in the history of medicine and the role medicine plays in today's society. The society organizes a bi-annual national conference, publishes a newsletter and the journal Health and History. Its branches organize local activities.
