Arranging your visit

The Raven Mason Collection is housed within the University campus, located in Keele Hall inside the Raven Mason Suite. We have a number of open days throughout the year, any other time admission to the collection is by appointment only.

The Raven Mason Suite is located in Keele Hall via The Great Hall entrance up a set of stairs. Lift access is located inside Keele Hall main reception.

Hosted visits to the collection with professional staff can be arranged for groups from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 50 visitors and are approximately 45-60 minutes duration. Refreshments can be served. The collection is a non-profit making registered charity, and charges are made towards running costs and to maintain the collection. Please enquire for current charges.

The Raven Mason Collection officer presents a range of fascinating talks and lectures on the Mason Family, their factories and their products, giving an overview or a more detailed look at this family of potters and the diverse range of ceramics they produced. The group is seated for this illustrated presentation lasting between 40 and 60 minutes and is followed by an opportunity to ask questions. This is followed by a closer look at the objects on display and discussion of unique items, with the opportunity to handle items if requested. These sessions last up to 2 hours and refreshments can be served. The basic charge for parties of up to 40 people is £250. Please enquire for current charges for refreshments in addition.

The Raven Mason Collection officer will be pleased to visit your organisation to give an illustrated talk on any aspect of the Raven Mason Collection, the Mason Family of Potters, the Masons’ diverse products, Masons Ironstone China and other aspects of English ceramics. Please enquire about subjects and fees.
