A number of hotels in the UAE will start offering kosher food. Habtoor Hospitality is the first hotel group to introduce kosher cuisine to its culinary portfolio.
The group has partnered with Ellis Kosher Kitchen to be able to serve Jewish guests with food that complies with the strict dietary standards of traditional Jewish law. Similar to halal, religious rules are followed in producing, serving and consuming kosher food products.
Hotels that will be offering the cuisine include Hilton Dubai, V Hotel, Habtoor Palace Dubai, LXR Hotel and Resorts, Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection LLC, Metropolitan Hotel and Habtoor Polo Resort.
The hospitality group teamed up with Ellie Kriel, founder of Ellis Kosher Kitchen, to ensure all meals are prepared in accordance to the OU Kosher Certification (Orthodox United), known to be the most trusted form of certification when it comes to handling kosher meals globally.
With this partnership, the group's hotels will be able to introduce kosher catering to single business travellers, corporate events, MICE functions and even weddings.
Guests with kosher meal preferences will be able to select from an assortment of tailored menus, which will be packaged and sealed with an OU Certified stamp, assuring guests of a safe and satisfying culinary experience.
"Al Habtoor City, Hotel Collection, along with its UAE sister properties, look forward to working with Ellie and her team ensuring each guests visit is a memorable and enjoyable culinary journey," the company said.
