This tutorial is to show users how to order captions for video in My Media on Canvas. >> All media must be closed caption to meet accessibility guidelines. >> Once logged in, Navigate to the my account icon in the upper left-hand corner. Then select My Media. Locate the file that you wish to request captions for. There are one or two ways to do this. >> The first method is to select the small box to the left of the file and then to click actions and then select Caption & Enrich. The second methods to directly open the media file, then scroll down, then select actions, and then select Caption & Enrich. >> You can then change the source media language. >> And then when you are ready, click submit. >> You will then receive a confirmation that your request has been received. You will also receive an email once the caption request is complete. Keep in mind, MiVideo provides machine-generated captions on demand, but the captions are not always accurate.
