South African Airways (SAA) is aiming to take to the skies again in July this year, according to a leaked document seen by Fin24.
The document, a recent proposed flight schedule, indicates SAA wants to offer domestic routes between Johannesburg and Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, and Johannesburg and Gqeberha as from 1 July.
Regionally, it would like to implement flights from Johannesburg to Harare (Zimbabwe), Accra (Ghana), Lusaka (Zambia), Windhoek (Namibia), Lilongwe (Malawi), Lagos (Nigeria), Maputo (Mozambique), Kinshasa (DRC) and Blantyre (Malawi).
