No one has had such a fast start to their PGA Tour career since 1988 - but, in 2021, a 22-year-old South African, Garrick Higgo, made history on golf's biggest circuit.
Higgo is the first player to win in one of his first two career PGA Tour starts since Jim Benepe won the 1988 BMW Championship in his Tour debut.
Playing in only his second PGA Tour event this past week, Higgo came from behind to seal the Palmetto Championship in South Carolina on Sunday, stunning a stellar field that included world number one, Dustin Johnson.
