Tatjana Schoenmaker once again proved her pedigree at the SA Aquatic Championships where she swam yet another Olympic qualifying time.
Schoenmaker came first in the women's 100m breaststroke heats, stopping the clock in a time of 1:06.83.
She is now the heavy favourite for the event with the final taking place on Sunday evening.
Alard Basson came close to securing Olympic qualification in the men's 100m breaststroke when he stopped the clock at 1:00.84.
He will need to beat 59.93 in the final to qualify for Tokyo 2020.
