Former President Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen are liberal icons, vacationing friends and rhapsodists about the dreams and travails of everyday Americans. Now they are also podcast hosts. . . . Spotify released the first two episodes of “Renegades: Born in the USA,” featuring the 44th president and the singer of the anthemic hit name-checked in the show’s title. —The Times

“Kiss & Tell with Henry Kissinger”

Fans are finally going to get a much needed look at the nearly hundred-year-old former Secretary of State’s playful side. We all know him for spearheading the destruction of Cambodia, supporting murderous dictatorships, and being a general fan of genocide, which earned him the nickname Gen Hen. But did you also know that Kissinger has kissed some of the world’s most powerful ladies? Bravo’s Andy Cohen and Hank (as his friends call him) explore this flirty war criminal’s romantic past. As a bonus, watch the duo play games such as the Taming of the Coup: Brought to You by Ciroc, in which Kissinger has to oversee a military coup from in-studio. Sounds easy—but, with vodka in the mix, things get a little tricky.

“It Takes a Village”

A dramatic portrayal of Hillary Clinton’s years in Little Rock. Starring Reese Witherspoon as Clinton, this is the sweet and heartwarming story of a woman who befriends Willy—played by Joaquin Phoenix, as you’ve never seen him before—a death-row inmate tasked with renovating the governor’s mansion, per the long-standing Arkansas tradition of using prison labor for home maintenance. Clinton and Willy forge an unlikely bond, one that transcends guilt or innocence. Ultimately, she and her husband move into the White House, leaving Willy behind, but they think about him often during their time in D.C., fondly repeating their nickname for him: Crime Bill.

“Are You on Key? with Aung San Suu Kyi”

Many will be surprised to learn that, during the twenty-one years that Aung San Suu Kyi spent under house arrest, she mastered the art of song. Along with “The Voice” coach and EGOT-winner John Legend, and in a much-anticipated follow-up to the years-long Rohingya genocide, Aung San Suu Kyi travels the globe in search of the world’s hottest underground talent. Can you sing in key? Let Kyi be the judge.

“Macarons with Emmanuel Macron”

Guy Fieri and Emmanuel Macron have much in common—both have a burning passion for the things they love, and both are world leaders (Guy reps Flavortown, Macron reps France). But the biggest commonality of all? Their love of all things French, including bread—bonjour, carbs! Whereas England has “The Great British Bake Off,” France now has its own French twist. With Guy by his side, Macron has to prepare traditional French cuisine, Fieri-style. We’re talking loaded escargot; burgers with fromage; a regular macaron, but it’s huge and has lights on it that say “PARTY TIME”; and more. In this East-meets-West comedy (not the actual East that France colonized, don’t worry), can Paris match Vegas? Can the Eiffel Tower stand up to a replica of the Eiffel Tower? Tune in to find out.

“Nothin’ but Netanyahu”

Whereas his nine-to-five slam dunks are on the rights of the Palestinians, the real dream of the point guard Netanyahu, standing at a statuesque six feet tall, goes beyond building apartheid walls. His greatest love of all? Getting those triple-doubles. This summer, Bibi goes undercover with Mossad’s very own Yossi Cohen to see if the P.M. has what it takes to join Israel’s national basketball team. All while still pursuing his passion of eradicating Palestinians. That one’s important to him. He really needs to be able to do that, too.

“Drone On Podcast with Obama”

You may think that you’ve seen every side of this former President and reigning king of content, but, although we know all about his love of Marlboro Reds, Springsteen, and not closing Guantánamo, his latest podcast, “Drone On,” features Obama as you’ve never heard him before. He’ll get A-list celebrity guests to open up about their lives. And it’s a two-way street—we also get a glimpse of the intimate details about Obama’s daily life. Premium listeners get access to definitive lists of what Obama was listening to, reading, watching, and loving while signing off on his most iconic four hundred drone strikes.
