PROFILE of Jane Barnell, the Bearded Lady, billed in the sideshows as Lady Olga. Miss Barnell is 69 years old and was first put on exhibition shortly after her fourth birthday: she claims she has been bearded since infancy. As Princess Olda, Madame Olga, or Lady Olga, she has worked in sideshows of at least 25 circuses and carnivals, for wages running between twenty and a hundred dollars a week. She has been married four times, her fourth husband, Thomas O'Boyle, is a veteran clown, but recently he has been employed as a talker-the sideshow term for a barker, at the gate of Hubert's Museum. Tells about Lady Olga's career, and about other bearded ladies of sideshow fame.
