PROFILE of I Arthur Ganger, who runs a bar & night club equipment business. From 1924 to 1933, he sold more than $1 million of this equipment, dealing principally with "fronts" for various gangs. He built three places for Larry Fay. For Fay, Big Frenchy de Mange, Dutch Schultz, and other underworld figures he knew, he still holds a curious admiration. Ganger never considered himself a member of the underworld. In the underground years, he kept h his merchandise in stores & warehouses all over Manhattan, but shortly after repeal he formed a corporation - I Ganger, Inc., and settled down in two buildings on W. 45th St. It's a family business in which his wife, three sons, & other relatives are active. Tells about his way of doing business.
