Hi, I'm Big Bird.
And I'm Abby Cadabby.
And we're gonna write captions for New Yorker Cartoons.

[Abby] Oh wow.
[Big Bird] All right let's see.
[Abbey] She look annoyed.
[Big Bird] So what we've got,
this looks like a living room.
[Abbey] Yeah and--
And there's a woman there.
And a man sucked into the couch.
It looks like he became part of the sofa.
[Abbey] Yeah like and he's got the remote
He's in a remote location.

She looks like she wants him to come to bed.

I think that's an owl
I see. Yes, it looks like an, maybe an office.
[Elmo] At a workplace
[Cookie Monster] And um, maybe that guy is the,
bbb, behind the desk. He looks like

[Elmo] Maybe she, but she might be the boss

Maybe they're doing a night shift

Which is like, dogs give you unconditional love
[Big Bird] That's right and, and they both have a leash
They both have a leashes
They're both walking the dog
and its sitting and what's the dogs name?

He's a drog and they have a leash, okay
Um, Big Bird, could you write this for me?

[Abby] Well Bev, it looks like we both
have a new leash on Life.

Because the, the dogs name is Life
Yeah, that's right, they got it hahahah

Lets see, he's making a pizza

[Cookie Monster] And uh, it looks like um
They're working
But working on computer

[Elmo] Yeah, that's true

Poor pizza is up in the air

Okay, well there's a bird
[Abby] Well, you can relate to this Big Bird
[Big Bird] I, well, yeah, the, he's got a worm there.
It looks like that could be a relative of mine.
That bird, maybe, maybe that's... maybe that's part of it.
And is he gonna feed that man, that bird.
I mean doesn't he have to chew it up first
and then spit it in his mouth?
[Big Bird] I'm not sure
You have to catch, don't you have to catch worms
early in the morning or something?

[Elmo] Doctors office, aha
[Cookie Monster] And uh.. he, what's he doing
[Elmo] That's not, he's got a little, a coin operated
um.. rocket ship
[Cookie Monster] Yeah it looks like he's having...
You know what Cookie Monster?

[Elmo] Rocket ships are not normally in doctors offices
[Cookie Monster] Yeah me no think me ever seen
rocket ship in doctors office.
No, looks fun though
[Cookie Monster] Yeah, he's having uh, he's having fun
on rocket ship.

Uh, doctor looks like he's taking notes
[Elmo] Yeah, aha, aha, lets see here.
Um, oh me got it!
You got it?
Me, me got this one

[Cookie Monster] Five more minutes doc? Please?!
[Elmo] Hahaha, that's good Cookie

Hahaha, that's funny
He wants more time, yeah
[Drum Solo]
Okay so, uh, there's two people, they're running
from, from a cactus
[Abby] And they're, and its in the desert
It is
And its sharp, he looks like he's gonna...
Its a lot of points on the end
...poke him.
You know what's funny is that that cactus can run.
[Abby] And he's not sweating
Yeah well, it might be sweating but all the water
would be on the inside.
[Abby] But they're in sweat pants in the desert,
that makes no sense.
You know what's missing from this picture,
is, is, the, the sun.
This is true.
I've got something, look

[Big Bird] Aaaaaaggghh!
[Laughter]
Cus they're running from the cactus.
Its funny cus its trueee
[Drum Solo]
It's a, it a, its a guy in a snowman
[Elmo] And the snowman, and he's going like this
He's kinda, yeah, he's waving his arms,
and two ladies kinda
[Elmo] There's two ladies at the window
Looking at him
Hmmm
[Cookie Monster] He's kinda
He's kinda showing off
[Cookie Monster] Maybe he's trying to get their attention
[Elmo] Aha
Or um, or uh
And then someone decided it'd be..
Or, or plastic snowman
Yes, but it's been established that there
is someone inside that snowman
[Cookie Monster] Yeah. Probably pretty cold in there
[Elmo] Yes
Uh, got the carrot nose..
Aha
Got the..
Everything a snowman might have
Yes, plastic snowman costume and there
are people there kind of looking at him.

[Elmo] You got it? - Yeah

Looks like they're, they're, they're at a pool party
[Abby] Yeah, and somebody brought a GIANT ball
Yup, oh but look at this guy over here
[Abby] Oh, he's brought a little ball,
maybe that's an appetizer of a ball. You think there's
anybody in that pool?
[Big Bird] I don't think so, I think the ball is taking up
all, all the space for the swimming.
[Abby] You, who do you think brought that ball?
Like Snuffy, that looks like a ball big enough that
Snuffy would bring.
Yeah, its uh, very big
Aahhh, I, I think I've got something
[Whispers]

Okay, lets take a look.
[Abby] Well Glen, they did say the party would be a ball!
[Laughter ]
[Drum Solo]
Lets see, we have a, we have a, it looks like a young man
, and he's in, he's in his pjs.
[Cookie Monster] But he's way too big to be in,
in that crib.
[Elmo] In his old baby crib, with a, with a baby monitor
It looks like he's talking into the monitor to somebody
and uh..
Maybe his mommy
Ooh, maybe
Yeah
Okay, it looks like is, he's got his little
pajamas on but they, they too small for him
Yeah, they're his pajamas from when
he was a baby, probably.
[Cookie Monster] Yeah, the little night light
and some baby pictures on wall.
[Elmo] Yeah
Oh, oh,
oh, me got this
[Elmo] You got it?
[Cookie Monster] Me got it, me got it, okay
[Cookie Monster] Mommy, is time out over yet?
[Laughter]
That's funny
[Drum Solo]
That is really hard
Yeah, you have to really, you know,
think about the picture.
Yeah
And then also write something funny

Yeah, you had so many ideas
You did too, me like your ideas

I still wonder how they got the ball in the pool though
