NY Tech Meetup
Our flagship program, the NY Tech Meetup has been a monthly staple for the NYC tech ecosystem since 2004! Co-founded by meetup.com founder Scott Heiferman and Dawn Barber, NY Tech Meetup (NYTM) began its life in a meeting room of meetup.com’s offices with only four attendees. It is now the world's largest meetup group with over 60,000 members!
Each event draws a broad cross-section of the tech community together for an evening of technology-focused demos and culminates in a great networking session.
Foundations of Entrepreneurship
We believe in building sustainable startups, and we know that all begins with a solid foundation. Focusing on 4 areas of business, this series of workshops brings smart business curriculum to the broad community of entrepreneurs in NYC.

Women's Demo Night
We support building a tech ecosystem without barriers or obstacles to entry and success. Each December, we cap off the year with our annual Women’s Demo Night, where female founders and women-led tech companies take center stage to show off their work to the community.
Developing Pride
We strive for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech ecosystem, and our annual Developing Pride program recognizes and celebrates the work of LGBTQ+ technologists and founders. Our events have included founders’ showcases, panels, demo days, and more.
