In the market for a new tablet, bookworms? Samsung and Barnes & Noble might have just the thing.

After first teaming up last year, the companies on Thursday launched a new co-branded tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Nook. Described as the "the thinnest, lightest, ultra-fast device from the two companies," the 8-inch Wi-Fi tablet has the same specs as the new Galaxy Tab S2, plus a "vast collection of digital content" from the Nook store.

That includes access to more than 4 million books, including bestsellers, new releases, classics, and enhanced titles with special content. You'll also find a large selection of comic books, graphic novels, travel guides, cookbook titles, as well as more than 110,000 children's books.

The Galaxy Tab S2 Nook is available now at Barnes & Noble stores nationwide and online at nook.com for $399.99, with an extra 10 percent off for Barnes & Noble members. For a limited time, you'll also get three free Nook books and three free magazines, plus a $5 credit, and free lifetime in-store support when you purchase the device.

Weighing in at just 9.3 ounces and measuring less than a quarter inch, the Galaxy Tab S2 Nook features a Super AMOLED display, 32GB of standard memory (expandable up to 128GB), and an octa-core processor. Other features include Multi-Window for running two apps simultaneously and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, which all come pre-loaded.
