Trusts and foundations

We believe that children should not have to face mental health problems alone, so we are incredibly grateful to the trusts and foundations whose long-term generosity has enabled us to reach more pupils, families and school staff across the UK.

For over 25 years, Place2Be has provided mental health services in schools.

Support from trusts and foundations has helped us to:

Unrestricted funding

Unrestricted funding is invaluable because it allows us to develop our strategy and remain flexible to the changing needs of our school communities.

We want to say a big thank you to our unrestricted funders including: The People’s Postcode Lottery, Pears Foundation, Bernard Lewis Family Charitable Trust and The Peter Cundill Foundation.

School has been hard for me, but after coming to Place2Be all the difficult times have got easier. It’s nice to have private time in a busy school to talk about anything you want. Pupil supported by Place2Be

Our Pioneers

Our Pioneers represent our donors who have had the greatest impact on Place2Be’s work. Their support, trust and belief in what we do has enabled us to make ground-breaking progress in developing and refining our work in schools when supporting children, their parents and teachers.

Impact and reporting

Place2Be is committed to collecting data about the work we do and using it to measure our impact.

We report openly and honestly about the funding we receive and tailor our reports to the interests and objectives of each trust or foundation.

We regularly collect case studies from pupils, families and school staff to demonstrate the difference we make to their lives. Read more about our impact

School visits

We invite friends, trustees and representatives from trusts or foundations to visit one of our schools, where they can hear directly from pupils, families and school staff about our impact.

Before Place2Be, I used to bottle up my feelings, but now I can express it to the world. Pupil supported by Place2Be
