More than 400 lose power in North Park, University Heights, Normal Heights
Mother’s Day outage began about 5:20 p.m, with cause yet to be determined.
More than 400 San Diego Gas & Electric customers in University Heights, Normal Heights, North Park and other nearby neighborhoods lost power Sunday, with the cause of the outage yet to be determined.
SDG&E said the unplanned outage began at 5:20 p.m. The power was restored by 8:30 p.m.
Some 365 circuits were impacted, according to the utility. It originally estimated 1,066 customers lost power but later reduced that number to 423.
There also was an outage in Borrego Springs, where 34 customers lost power at 4:15 p.m. Sunday. Four customers remained without power at 8:25 p.m., with those circuits expected to be restored by 8:30 p.m.
