Emory University offers partial to full merit-based scholarships as part of the Emory University Scholar Programs, which empower students through resources and support to reach their full potential and make an impact on the university, and the world.

There are 3 categories of scholarship programs:

Emory College Woodruff Scholars
Oxford College Scholars Program – Academic scholarships include: Robert W. Woodruff Scholars, Dean’s Scholars, Faculty Scholars, Emory Opportunity Award, Liberal Arts Scholar
Goizetta Scholars Program – BBA Financial Aid

Scholarships are renewable for a total of eight regular academic year semesters of undergraduate study, provided students maintain high standards of personal and academic excellence and meet semester and annual requirements of their program (details provided upon acceptance).

Eligibility:

Applicants should be students applying for Bachelors degree programs at Emory University. All students, regardless of citizenship, can be considered for the scholar programs.

Application instructions:

To be considered for any and all scholar programs, you must select 1 of the 3 admission decision plans (Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision) and submit all required application materials by 15 November for the Fall entry of the following year. Those applying Early Decision I must apply by 1 November. You also must answer “yes” to the question on your application that says, “Do you wish to be considered for merit scholarships?”

No additional nomination forms, essays, or materials are required to be considered. Applicants do not need to be nominated by a high school counselor.
