Library Locations for Youthful Activities

Although families are welcomed throughout the building, there are specific locations where our younger patrons may feel more at ease, in purpose-built locations just for them!

The Children’s Room is intended for children up to age 12, caregivers, and patrons actively using the collections.

Children under 6 years of age must be accompanied by a caregiver, who is at least 11 years old, at all times. Children 6-9 years old must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver who remains in the building and is responsible for the children. Children 10 years or older may use the library unaccompanied, subject to the general rules set forth for all library users.

Glass Display Cases

The Children’s Room displays, on a rotating basis, various collections of our patrons’ favorite items. From Matchbox, to dolls, to rock collections, to Legos, to Squishmallows and TY Beanie Babies – we share one’s love with others. Would you want the opportunity to share one of your favorite collections with all of our other patrons to see? Fill out our Display Case Reservation Form for consideration.
