Follow the path of Veturi in research, students urged

TTD All Projects Special Officer N. Muktheswara Rao urged the students to follow the footsteps of renowned littérateur Veturi Prabhakara Sastry for pursuing research in Telugu literature.

Interacting with the students during a seminar, conducted to mark the 65thdeath anniversary of Veturi Prabhakara Sastry by the TTD and the SVU’s Telugu Department, Mr. Rao spoke on the research embarked upon by the littérateur.

Veturi Vangamaya Peetham Special Officer Samudrala Lakshmanaiah said that, Veturi had the credit of having brought to the lime light the first Telugu word ‘Nagabu’ through his research.

SVU Telugu Department Head of Department Munirathnamma and others took part.
