May 12, 2005: Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko arrived in Trondheim. They were met by Queen Sonja and Prince Haakon. Princess Mette Marit will arrive later in the day.

I love the dress that Mette-Marit wore. The color looks great and the earrings as well. Though I did orginally think that a shorter length (i.e. cocktail dress length) would have made the dress less...layery? Nonetheless, I thought that it was fantastic that Mette-Marit wore the dress, fantastic choice.
