YOU ARE HERE
The Archives team manage, preserve and provide access to physical and digital archival materials relating to:
- the corporate and social history of UOW
- materials of historical significance to the Illawarra region
- materials of relevance to our teaching and research.
We offer collection expertise and provide reference support for our community, external institutions and bodies, and members of the public.
Our most popular collections easily visible and downloadable. Each digitised item, including images and documents, is shown in the highest quality detail, and audio/video can be played directly in your browser.
EXPLORE ARCHIVES ONLINE
ImageLink allows you to explore regional archival photograph collections using advanced visual technologies.
Our online exhibitions showcase recent and past historical exhibitions held at UOW Library, capturing the stories and experiences associated with them.
Our Flickr organises images into collections and themes including the early University site, the Wollongong Teachers' College, important and influential people, and our recent UOW Library exhibitions.
Accessing our physical collections
While our digitised collections showcase our online archives content, many of our collections still exist in physical formats in the Archives.
