The Champions Impact
Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. In 2022, we distributed over $73 million to ensure 7,000 families could stay in their homes.
Everyone deserves enough to eat. United Way’s Home Grocery Delivery services reach 5,000 households each week. And for our students learning in the classroom, Breakfast After the Bell now gives breakfast access to 543,000 students in Washington state. When school was out, over half a million kids received free summer meals!
Everyone deserves resources they need to thrive. In 2022, our Free Tax Preparation Campaign team helped 6,400 of our neighbors walk away with more than $11 million in income tax refunds.
Benefits Hubs on community college campuses throughout the county help 15,000 students meet their basic needs so that they can focus on graduating.
