Finding goodness and joy in the last year+ can take some real focus. With our fiscal year wrapping up in July, we were reflecting on all of the amazing things that donors like you have helped make happen—and we just had to thank you!

So we came together to celebrate community and support small businesses – many of them BIPOC owned – made for two great evenings in July.

We worked with five of our chef partners that were part of the Eat, Drink & Be Generous event series – and more than 100 donors stopped by to say hit and grab take-out with a friend.

We’re grateful for year-round support of more than 700 Emerging Leaders 365 donors and nearly 2,000 Change Makers . Their commitment to learn about issues impacting our community and emphasis on advancing racial equity fuel the work we do. With their help, we had all of this to celebrate:

• Supporting more than 10,000 households with rental assistance, covering back rent to help keep people securely housed and avoid potential eviction or homelessness.
• Delivering 3,900+ boxes of groceries to households each week through a partnership with DoorDash, United Way Worldwide, Safeway and dozens of Seattle-area food banks.
• Providing support to 1,499 community college students including food, housing and benefits access to help them stay in school.

In addition to celebrating with friends, dozens of donors opted to donate their meals. We worked with the Low Incoming Housing Institute to deliver their dinners to residents.
