Motivation[edit]
AllSides is a website that analyses a wide range of (mostly American) news sources and assigns them ratings on the left–right politics (Q2921172) spectrum. It is commonly referenced in discussions of the media landscape and on the biases of individual sources, including those occurring at an academic level [1], and would therefore be a useful property to add to Wikidata to complement the existing IDs for the other sites of a similar nature.
