We people here : Nahuatl accounts of the conquest of Mexico
In an attempt to balance the Spaniards' early accounts of their experiences with Indians in the Americas with the native perspective, this study makes use of Nahuatl tribal documents written in 16th-century Mexico, recording the conquest of the country in the Indians' own words.
