Women Worldwide: Transnational Feminist Perspectives on Women showcases a wide range of women's voices to highlight the great diversity among women across race, ethnicity, social class, nation, sexual identity, age, ability, and religion. Each chapter begins with a fascinating essay written by experts in the field. Students are also introduced to personal stories, cartoons, profiles of activists, photos, and learning activities that apply to the chapter's concepts, and all of this before the readings even begin. Janet Lee and Susan Shaw then incorporate readings that offer numerous perspectives on the chapter themes.
