Indigenous Services

Public libraries provide collections and programming relating to Indigenous cultures, languages, and peoples. They also provide welcoming spaces and library services to Indigenous peoples. Public libraries actively seek to partner with Indigenous organizations and communities.
The Indigenous collection includes materials written by Indigenous peoples, in Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik-Peskotomuhkati, and about Indigenous issues.
Programming: Please contact your local public library for upcoming Indigenous-related programming.
