Dex Entrepôt Secret Blowout Sale

Saturday January 10, 2009
Well, it's not really a secret.

But unless you happen, by complete fluke, to show up at the Dex Entrepôt at Plaza St. Hubert and learn of the blowout sale via word-of-staff on location (because there's no posters, signs, anything) there's no way you'd know that Dex jeans, slacks, shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, you-name-it, are being sold for not just $5, but at two items for five dollars!

Let me rephrase that.

We're talking an unheard of $2.50 per item of mid-end quality clothing!!! And staff told me the back room is packed with more of the same and it all has to go. Some basic white blouses were on hand, a couple of wide leg and straight cut jeans were fantastic, some decent black pants stood out as well as some tops. And the tacky-it's-a-warehouse-sale-what-do-you-expect ratio? Relatively low.

You can thank me later ladies.

This Weekend in Montreal - In-I, Cardio-Sled, Warhol

Friday January 9, 2009
Musts ...

In-I with Juliette Binoche and Akram Khan
Exploring the daily lives of coupledom, including toilet seat debates expressed through dance, In-I has been hyped, re-hyped and mildly dissed, while selling tickets like hot cakes. On through January 17 at Place-des-Arts.

Held right in the outdoor heart of La TOHU's circus city, don't miss the chance to get pumped and toned with cardio-sledding! But hurry and register this weekend because classes start Monday!

Let's Get Married / Marions-Nous
Generally allergic to wedlock, Quebecers are the least likely to get married in Canada (after Nunavut), but Let's Get Married isn't fazed, dubbing itself the largest bridal exhibition in Canada. On through Sunday at Place Bonaventure.

Maybes ...
